It is a good pen, only downside is you need special paper for it to work. Which means you have to buy pads or if you have access to a postscript printer you can print paper.<\/p>\n<p>Recently I found the Staedtler Digital Pen, what a breath of fresh air.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gadgetdude.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/digital_pen_product_stage_eng_48583.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-98\" alt=\"digital_pen_product_stage_eng_48583\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gadgetdude.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/digital_pen_product_stage_eng_48583-300x112.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"112\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gadgetdude.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/digital_pen_product_stage_eng_48583-300x112.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.gadgetdude.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/digital_pen_product_stage_eng_48583.jpg 797w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Points for it are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The pen is a normal pen size so fits in your hand a lot easier than the livescribe<\/li>\n<li>The small blue receiver just fits on the top of your page, just hit a button when changing pages<\/li>\n<li>No special paper required, so your normal notepad is fine<\/li>\n<li>It comes with conversion software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>all you do is install the software and connect up the little blue receiver to USB, download the pages you have written to it ( this includes any diagrams you have as well ).<\/p>\n<p>Then you can choose text conversion and import the text into word, ok you may have to proof read and change some small words, but in all a very good device.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well I have been looking at Digital Pens for a while, even bought a Livescribe echo.
